8th International Symposium on Advances in Electrochemical Science and Technology (ISAEST-8)

In late November and early December 2006 Prof. Detchko Pavlov visited India. He was invited lecturer at the 8th International Symposium on Advances in Electrochemical Science and Technology (ISAEST-8) where he presented the lecture “Influence of H2SO4 concentration on the performance parameters of lead-acid batteries” by D. Pavlov., S. Ruevski and V. Naidenov.
At a special promotion ceremony, Prof. Paul A. Kohl, Editor in chief of the Journal of the Electrochemical Society presented to the ISAEST-8 delegates the book “Essentials of Lead-Acid Batteries” by Prof. D. Pavlov, compiled and edited by B. Hariprakash, T. Prem Kumar, A.K. Shukla. The book evoked great interest among all delegates who work in the field of lead-acid batteries science.
